Esther Hernández San Miguel
Research Technician
Esther graduated in Biology (Salamanca University) and obtained her Ph.D. in Biomedicine (Valladolid University), where she worked on mitochondrial calcium signaling.
Before joining the Experimental Pathology of Atherosclerosis Lab in March 2019, she worked as a postdoc at the 3D Lab of the CIB-CSIC in Madrid, where she focused on the cardiac development of chicken embryos, and at the Neurooncology unit of the ISCIII in Madrid, where she studied the behavior of brain tumors and their microenvironment.
In her spare time, she loves going out and spending time with her family and friends.
