Dani is a postdoc in the Jacob Bentzon´s lab at CNIC interested to expand our knowledge on smooth muscle cell plasticity in experimental and human atherosclerosis. 

Before starting in the Bentzon lab, he completed his Ph.D. in the School of Medicine at Universidad Complutense de Madrid where he characterized the vasodilator and antiproliferative effects of a wide range of drugs to identify those with potentially better efficacy for Pulmonary Hypertension.

 

He loves the outdoors and talks about science as part of the Pint of Science team in scientific dissemination activities.​
