Ainoa is a research technician at Bentzon’s lab who is focused on translational research in atherosclerosis.

 

She helps with the flow of the laboratory, doing tasks like genotyping mice by PCR and qPCR, histology (cutting sections with the cryotome and microtome of differents tissues: such as aorta, liver, aortic root), immunohistochemistry, plasmid preparation, cholesterol, and HDL-c measurements.

 

Before working at Bentzon lab, Ainoa studied a degree in Histology and then, a degree in Imaging (both in Zaragoza, Spain) until 2014.
