CNIC is an international research institution dedicated to cardiovascular research. It was created through a partnership between the Spanish government and the Pro CNIC foundation and is a Severo Ochoa centre of excellence. It houses 25 research groups and 10 technical units and is located at the Instituto Carlos III campus in Madrid. Our lab is at the 2nd floor with a look to the Cuatro Torres.

Aarhus University is a large university with 40000 students located in Aarhus, Denmark - the city of the smile. It ranks among the top 100 universities in the world. The university credo is Solidum petit in profundis. Not fluent in Latin? Then decipher its meaning in the universities own font

Our lab is physically located at the Aarhus University Hospital where we are affiliated to Heart Diseases and the new diabetes hospital SDCA.

Lab life

Every day has its moments. Presentations, a visit from colleagues, or a finalized experiment.
